     What a final it was! Mumbai Indians are the 2019 IPL Champions. For a record 4th time they were victorious against Chennai Super Kings by 1 run on Sunday May 12th 2019. It was the 2nd time in 3 years, believe it or not, that they won the final by 1 run. They were the most efficient, well-rounded team this year with a good balance of fast and slow bowlers. The old saying goes that records are meant to be broken. On Sunday May 5th 2019 at the Clontarf Cricket Ground in Dublin, West Indies openers Shai Hope and John Campbell made heads spin globally with a World record opening stand of 365 for the 1st wicket. John Campbell struck his maiden ODI century, smashing 179 while Shai Hope brought up his 5th ODI century in his 50th game in this form of the game.
